The 3-story french manor was built in 1613 and holds a very prominent place in the hearts of the people in Central Brittany. Surrounded by 30 acres of woods with hiking paths and a beautiful park, the bed and breakfast is located out in the country. The only thing our guests hear are the birds and an occasional farm tractor off in the distance.

The manor received a 4-star rating from the French B&B Agency Gîtes de France.

Our expectations were exceeded in every way from the moment we arrived. From the peace and quiet of the gracious old manor steeped in history and set in natural beauty, to the comfort and appeal of our charming accommodation, to the kindness and attentiveness of our engaging host and hostess - nothing could have been better. The perfectly delicious five-course dinners and generous breakfasts were only exceeded by the warmth of conversation around the table and of course, over the evening apperitifs! Not only were we able to relax in the beauty and surrounds of Manoir de Poul, but thanks to our hosts, we also familiarized ourselves a little with the area - one highlight being a family bicycle ride along the Nantes-Brest canals to Bon Repos Abbey and beyond. Thank you Mike and Valerie for a most delightful and memorable stay. We hope to be back!
